The implied results are now calculated using the local election results for the wards which make up each old seat. This should be more accurate than the earlier implied results which assumed each constituency was homogeneous.
In Hampshire there is one new seat (Meon Valley) which should be a Conservative seat. Also the new boundaries for Portsmouth North make it a Conservative gain from Labour. In Surrey, the new Guildford seat is a gain for the Lib Dems over the Conservatives.
The large Isle of Wight seat continues to be undivided although it now has an electorate of 108,000.
